For the price, it is sure that we should not be choosy. The housing itself is sober and solid (Alu I think). No fan or ventilation grille, which avoids a "noisy" use in operation. The rear connections are basic, a power outlet + USB plug (2.0) and an ON / OFF switch for the power supply (which is significant). A plastic base is supplied to position it vertically if required. The power supply and a USB cable connection (socket-B to Type-A) are also present in the box.
This box has an "asset", it uses no screws or fixing complex mechanism, which allows you to insert / remove your Hard Disk without screwdriver or other tool (barely has do we need a pencil tip to push the pins). So actually, once we slid the side moldings and that removes the back hand, need only connect the plies (2 bend well in advance to facilitate assembly) and then insert the disc into the case.
Note that fixing rails are provided for mini slide and stabilize the disc inside the housing, the rails plugging in the screw the HDD, so childish ... by cons, I think they poorly designed, as even positioning them correctly, their height is too short compared to the size of the disk. Besides wide level, it does not seem to go either, so I was not able to put them. So, I have to find a solution to prevent the HDD wanders in, but for now it is not dramatic (the case did not intend to move much).
When reassembling, it actually takes a little force to replace the back cover of the case, the remaining space between the inner layers and the HDD is very small (hence my advice to properly fold the tablecloths before!). I do not think this is disturbing, even if you insert / remove a disc frequently this case, tablecloths deforming easily (welds have strong air). For cons, the second concern for me, handing the side moldings, the housing has taken the game and one of them is no longer ... well it's anecdotal because in fact there is no need for these chopsticks. But it nevertheless confirms that we have the "quality" we deserve for the money.
To conclude, if you need to book a package that does its job without too much worry about the quality, you can go. If, however, you seek a class and robust housing with a high quality finish, go your way!
