Time, therefore time to look at the Komputerbay. I opted for the 32 GB version with 1000x speed. This currently costs EUR 60, so half of the comparable maps of well-known manufacturers.
The card initially charged a little confidence-inspiring impression: No packaging, they dangled loosely in one of those little plastic jars CF. Then you could see small marks - also on the CF card even when shipping is one apparently little effort.. On the other hand, also has some charm again - just two days before I have the absurd big pack removed to a "well-known" card around - this is actually an insult.
Before the card came in the camera, I have formatted the computer and drüberlaufen a test program. There were no defective areas, the entire memory was available (30.5 "real" GB).
The speed at the USB3 connection was just under 62 MB / sec. When writing and good 92 MB / sec. Read. That seems acceptable - the faithful for years Lexar 600x card brings it to 39 or 69 MB / sec.
Tomorrow I'm going to use the Komputerbay card at a portrait shoot and next week at a wedding reportage.
I do not know who the worn exterior appearance of the map is to blame - the manufacturer? The dealer, who then are the goods in order? The dealer who "overpacked" the previously impeccable goods? I take it anyway times a ZIP code. Technically, the map seems so far to be perfect. But You can be sure I will reduce the rating mercilessly if I abschmiert the map ... ;-)
