This device certainly has no equivalent. I've had 8 months now and it never leaves me, so much so that my reflex no longer serves me to macro and wildlife photography to telephoto. No need to reconsider its robustness, responsiveness and image quality i delivers, everything has been said ... not to mention the incredible Snap mode that facilitates the task you well when you improvise street photographer! Formidable opportunity to convert RAWs directly from the camera, and edit as you wish, making post processing on often useless computer. In the end, the only thing we could fault it is no viewfinder, but if there was one it would probably be bulkier, and philosophy would take a big hit! However when we see the ability of particular Panasonic to incorporate pretty good very discrete electronic viewfinders on some of its compact, I think that Ricoh could explore this track. This device is not an elitist device, but a little bit of knowledge and technology are essential to derive the greatest pleasure, and there you will not be disappointed!
