The first film I first sifted. Due to a slight angular offset from the top down, I wanted the film korrigeren again; However, despite careful peeling and extremely little dust reattachment failed because less disturbing dust particles betw display and foil -.> blistering. If it then times too many "specks of dust" are, no scotch tape helps more - that's it then.
For mounting in general:
Be sure to read the manual: The screen protector has a "carrier sheet" and a "transport protector". First you have the "carrier sheet" be removed as directed - it is engraved with the elongated tab! The "transport protector" has a red FX logo on the peel tab and is completely removed at the end.
The film is - as the Rezessenten reported to me - extremely accurate cut and forgiving in vertical display direction (ie from top to bottom) no tolerance of MemoPad housing (my case has a minimal protruding collar around the display bezel).
So a small bubble has to assembly completion Unfortunately formed on the edge (for rounding the top right), who simply would not go away with me. Have long failed to understand why; at first thought it would be a speck of dust, or maybe I had possibly the film on removal. too much "kinked". Both, however, was not the cause, but my film has pressed on a small spot minimally against the display glass enclosing housing collar and thereby arched upwards -> blistering. Also x-fold "cockroaches" did not help - the bladder remained.
But it must be the film really is 100% exactly positioned at the upper starting point, so that it still rests at the lower end 100% BEFORE the housing collar correctly.
So slide right again off carefully with adhesive tape and the top and an extremely small piece at the transition to rounding - watch out! This conceived dust etc. reinschmuggelt, is the greatest danger. The trick rauszuholen with scotch tape a speck of dust, works quite well to the set X.
Thanks to extremely little dust I can achieve a 100% perfect result. Not a single foreign body betw. Display / film, not the slightest bubble. The display surface has now velvety matt and less Datscherempfindlich.
The touch operation shows no disadvantages. The brightness and the contrast ratio is still without any problems very well and for use indoors.
Positive side effect: The material thickness of the film causes said housing collar now flush with the film surface. As if ASUS would have wanted ...
Therefore 4 of 5 stars; 4 for the material quality, 1 star deduction for the not so simple installation.
I too would like to recommend to the manufacturer, the length, and the 4 Eckrundungen - by one tenth mm to reduce.
