The "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear" has an internal shut-off function. The glasses will turn off according to instructions when there is no signal from the TV receives more than one minute or if the user stops moving for more than 10 minutes. The problem is the motion sensor, which obviously is not very sensitive. For me, the two glasses off regularly during the films. They do not at the same time, although they are operated in parallel. Accordingly, it can not be on the radio signal of the TV. The previously mentioned home test then put the confirmation. I had programmed then go my smartphone that it beeps all the five minutes short. If it did, I have greatly shaken my head with attached "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear". Behold, it has been turned off during the two hour film not once. What does that tell us? The motion sensor in the "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear" is an absolute waste, since it is not registered slight movements of the head, but unnatural convulsions (slightly exaggerated description, but only slightly ...) are necessary to the "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear "to convince them that it is still in use.
Conclusion: This problem will not solve any firmware updates unless you can update the firmware of the "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear". It has, after all, a USB port, even if it apparently serves only for charging. Furthermore, LG might bring a revision of the "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear" in the market, where either the motion sensor has been revised or completely disappears. It serves only to save power of the battery. How about with a simple slide switch, which leaves the responsibility to the user or a switch mechanism in the hinged joints of glasses himself? The easiest way would be to shut down by 3D signal. I turn on the TV, the 3D function off, the glasses go out and oh wonder also, this feature is indeed with us. Why than this stupid motion sensor? It certainly a dozen better solutions than the scrap, which currently LG "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear" delivers with. A fact that no premium TVs when the only usable 3D glasses not to function properly. Nice and user-friendly it would be if the LG then the "old" "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear" converts free. Now we come to the third and final solution. A third manufacturer sells a properly functioning 3D Eyewear as a substitute for the "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear". Unfortunately, there's no silver lining in sight.
PS: If it is turned on supplies the "LG AG-S250 3D Eyewear" an outstanding 3D experience. Unfortunately, she never stops again and must be restarted.
Update: After more than eight months, I have now can change the shutter glasses via the LG Service. Now I get the latest models with firmware v0.64 and this switch is no longer off. What subsequently still strikes the stomach but is the fact that I had to wait almost 5 months (have the glasses sent in December) and could, of course, pay the postage himself. Apparently LG has also still arge delivery problems with the spectacles (Firmware v0.64) sold, but no more glasses with old firmware. A friend of mine for over 4 months waiting for the good piece.
