I bought two of these headsets in June '14, now both are defective. That is less than 6 months from date of purchase. Both have a broken cable in the immediate vicinity of the volume control, which is also the Mute and the USB-powered bass reinforcement.
Cable break: that of 3 audio (microphone, playing left and playback right) is at least one disturbed permanently or in the form of an intermittent contact, because inside the cable or at the transitions between the cable and connector, cable and volume control or cable and headset there is damage, leading to an interruption of the signal. Especially a loose connection is extremely annoying.
Speaking Bass enhancement: Goods at one of my two headsets from the outset wrong.
I would take this opportunity to point out that the headsets were in stationary use with me and were treated with care. An unusual strain so was not present.
I'll probably return the headsets in the next few days.
