I chewed regularly disk Verbatim since floppy times and until now had never been serious problems with it. A small percentage of not working is not the world but at the current batch of sheet has been very wide spans!

Approximately 50% of the blanks in a 50-pack Spindle could not be successfully burned!

I have tried this with a current burner from Samsung and the current burning software Nero.

- The blanks were inserted always reasonable
- The data area has never been touched by me and inserted directly into the drive
- The reading speed of the hard drives was always fully available (SSD and 7200 rpm hard drive tested)
- Various write speeds (up to down to 8x) have been tried
- The data to burning mass on each disc was therefore 3-4 gigabytes still far from the limit

Last year I had no problem with DVDRohlingen Verbatim in the same burner. Possibly the blanks currently offered are manufactured in poorer quality. Whether you can use it to keep regular customers I doubt it. I reach again on the back blanks which lie at Penny at checkout. These me a single blank is as yet not burnt ...
