Fairly close to the optimum

For a Speedport W724V telephone was sought, does not (called here the recommendation on the "product designer".: Dieter Rams has formulated once 10 criteria for good design) by a key orgy or alleged design features, but is easy to use and functional (= call) optimally supported.
The Speedphone is simple and limited to the essentials. The material is shiny plastic, but for the price is OK.

Pro:

Oriented key layout on the application -
- Easy registration on Speedport W724V
- So far a good battery life (Note: It is latest firmware is installed)
- Acquisition of contact from the router (rather than entering the data via telephone keypad)
- The proper way to store in the charging cradle is acknowledged with an acoustic signal
Cons:
- In the adoption of contact "Our" Contacts Once a surprise. The contact details of the router were still displayed in the Speedphone, but the fields for telephone numbers were empty. First, a software error was suspected, then another attempt in which the contact with first and last name have been entered. That was the solution. Here a corresponding note in the manual would be necessary
- Sometimes a different ring tone set as (intentionally). So far, no idea, so that the behavior is triggered
Conclusion:
The Speedphone 10 provides telephony in visually appealing form. The device is fast and (if one pays attention to certain things) uncomplicated. The voice quality is good. The price is surprisingly cheap. 4 points, because the initial problems with the contact details were a little annoying.
