- Errors in the product description: The device has an optical digital audio output and no coaxial digital output. Anyone who thinks he can connect his surround system that has a coaxial input, will be surprised.
- Lack in the product description: The device appears to have Bluetooth. I had found neither in the item description in the manual, which you can download at Samsung. Had appointed a TV Soundbar and extra NEN HDMI cable to because nowhere was that the TV had Bluetooth ... at once connect the two device via Bluetooth. Great.
The fact that the sound bar with the TV on and off, worked with this Samsung Soundbar incidentally quite well - even if one in which one or the other product review of the matter was not so sure himself:; camp = 1638 & creative = 19454 & creativeASIN = B00BMKEW3S & Linkcode = as2 & tag = httpwwwmircow -21
- "Smart Hub". You can surf the Internet, has direct access to YouTube and some movie rental ... who needs it ... would have wished that the access to connected USB devices is somewhat simplified, especially when it comes to TV recording via a connected hard drive. Get there, however, still not drumrum to create a quick reference for the owner, how you have programmed a TV program and subsequently retrieve the recording. Is still a little too much for my taste hidden in the menus and it is placed too much emphasis on "Apps". Hey, it's a TV and not a computer!
- The ports generally. I'm assuming that 80% of buyers of this TV hang it on the wall. Digital audio output, antenna input, USB and HDMI are right on the page, but why pray tell RCA inputs / outputs, network, Scart and the headphone output (!) Are back on the device? So narrow as the television and most wall mounts available are, one has to mount almost no chance, ran to come. In most ports verschmerzbar (network and Scart you put if needed before mounting again and fumbles no longer turn around), but the headphone jack I think it's just stupid (especially if you're the next downside still considered).
In addition: Actually, all connections are right, the power cord, however, is the rear left of the unit and a rather short cable included. When you now want to hide all the cables in the wall mounting in a bar, it would have been nice if at least everything would have been on one side of the unit or the power cord would at least so long that it still extends to the outlet when it from the left side of the device over relocated to the right side and then just down the wall. But is not the case here.
- To this end, I have to pull the star, because that really is absolutely stupid: to the television nor a headset should be connected in order also to a look from time to television, while others read in the living room. No big deal I thought, wireless headphones to be ordered in front of the wall assembly behind plugged into the device (because otherwise yes later no longer drankommt to the port) and subsequently stated: "So now the sound comes only from the headphones". Internet research revealed: When a plug in headphone jack, the device switches to mute. Not even any connected via HDMI or Bluetooth Soundbar. The same is with silence. Possible solution (which also worked luckily; together 6-7):
A scart adapter (luckily there's the Scart connection nowadays still); camp = 1638 & creative = 19454 & creativeASIN = B0014HB4YO & Linkcode = as2 & tag = httpwwwmircow-21
An RCA to jack adapter:; camp = 1638 & creative = 19454 & creativeASIN = B002C2ZS2E & Linkcode = as2 & tag = httpwwwmircow-21
And (after I found that the whole unfortunately does not fit between the TV and wall): Two RCA angle connectors:; camp = 1638 & creative = 19454 & creativeASIN = B004WSSAVC & Linkcode = as2 & tag = httpwwwmircow-21
Had everything been a problem, the headphone output would be on the side of the device where you come just ran, if you even want to use the headphones. Or if you can switch on the headphones plugged in the Sound menu, if the sound is to go to the headphones or not. But as it is, it's just utter nonsense NEN.
