Jane Austen wrote "Persuasion" at the end of his life. It is more a book of maturity, but it appears that it has not had time to polish up with the so full of life dialogues that are his trademark. The author, an American, tells us the views of Frederick Wentworth, without altering the original book by JA She has captured the personality of all the protagonists and filled with imagination all the blanks left by JA I love even more the male figure seen by her. His book is lively, inventive, very fine psychologically, in short an excellent book of "fan fiction" as the Anglo-Americans call this kind of book. The book is English but it reads to me as easily as that of Jane Austen. This comment also applies for "You alone" because this fanfiction is in two volumes. Note that the title of these two volumes is a quote from the letter that Frederick wrote to Anne Elliot to confess his love.
