Take milk (we usually 1.5% fat content, higher fat content also works well and tastes of course even better, whether durable or not, does not matter), fill it in the Bodum jar up to the maximum mark and befördere this (without lid) then. in the microwave We have a 800-watt wave, and there I let the milk Heat at full power for about 1 minute. According to the manual, the milk should not be brought to a boil.
Then place the Aufschäumsieb and "pump" after about 1 minute a wonderful milk foam enjoy. Completely simple and straightforward with the best result. The amount is enough for two cups. When rightly large diameter cups (as in the picture), the amount of two cups of something are just - you can then not form a real "mountain" of frothy milk, but it works. The whole thing also has the nice side effect that coffee after dilution with milk is not lukewarm, but still nice and hot - heavenly !!!
The criticized "splash" of milk is actually not worth mentioning: It can really happen that once a droplet finds its way out of the pot, but even that can be avoided. It just starts more gently to foam and "are only gas" when already the first foam is present.
Highly recommended is the tip, rinse briefly immediately after the foaming process the sieve. That's in a few seconds and you have no hygiene problems with milk frother on. We are very enthusiastic about the product and I would not have kept it to my previous experiments with the moderate results possible that such a thing would have invented. I can recommend the Bodum milk frother only highly.
Earlier I did not upload an image with the result in the cup. You can see a very nice, fine milk foam as it could not conjure up around the corner better and the Italians. The foam keeps very, very long. It remains after emptying the cup still quite a bit of foam left over, just like the Italians. The foam residue can then enjoy with the teaspoon additionally.
I wish everyone a lot of fun with this small but important and ingenious part. White as I could no longer enjoy before coffee. ;-)
