Bought out of conviction as a gift for my brother (myself the previous model). This product so few improvements have been made: The menu accesses are very fast, the delivered 1080p image is razor sharp, in addition, the device also plays the very latest video formats from container (eg .mkv). As before, however I do not like the whirring fan. It is not annoying but a slight annoyance. Expected I had a faster wireless connection was not awarded in the product description. And, my own device achieved in the cable operation OB speeds of 2.5-3 MB / s, although connected with Fast Ethernet (theoretically 12,5MB / s). On request from the manufacturer fantec arrived promptly the answer: For this it would be a video player and not primarily a NAS you can be more than satisfied. Well, from wireless laptop via wireless router wired to the device it is then even only 0.6 MB / s. Anyway fantec are the most advanced equipment, so buy!
