The hard drive is fine, a reliable air but I advise you to turn to the range of Western Digital Green which is much quieter (and slightly less performance for a hard disk does not contain the operating system).
In summary, I suggest you get an SSD for the system disk (for performance and silence) and a Western Digital Caviar Green drives for your data (for ability and silence).
