Chemical absorbers were not enough, again this is expensive and ultimately it is better to invest in a device like this is good + + efficient and profitable (let's say the price of 15-20 chemical refills ..)
In one week I pulled 5 liters of water! We feel a difference, the air is dry +, I no longer feel the smell of mildew resistant.
It also stops when the air reaches its humidity level selected (for against lack of precision because it is by a knob "min-max" is that of the humidity setting.
As for the noise that looks like a fan or a refrigerator. I turn it off at night.
When the container is full of water it stops by itself (hopefully). It is provided with a drain.
It is not the practice + slip into a corner but if you have the space it does not spoil the decor, you'd think a radiator.
A little disappointed because the Trotec water tank seemed to have already served (traces of brown water flows with a tree dust) and small piece of broken plastic which flew at the first start but it works perfectly and that the carton was new I have claimed nothing.
A good investment that will destroy certainly your humidity concern !!
