I'm building a hobby together Pcs and therefore know myself well with hardware. However, I have no experience with notebooks, and have therefore been looking for a good. The requirements were speed, good image quality, favorable price. This laptop meets all of these points!
Hardware:
- Processor
Intel Core i3 CPU 2 * 1.9GHz with Hyperthreading, means an additional two virtual cores, so really 4 * 1.9GHz. Thus, a modern processor which for surfing the web, watching movies, and other standard tasks is more than sufficient! Image processing provides the CPU without any problems. In video editing but it could take some time to complete. However, laptops are generally less capable than a PC! Meaning a notebook, it is finally to be mobile and standard perform tasks / programs.
Who runs professional video editing or similar complex tasks, is here at the wrong price range!
For everyday tasks (Word, Excel, Photoshop, etc.), the CPU is wiegesagt, well suited.
SSD
I really wanted a laptop with SSD have because this brings a huge performance boost in terms of startup, boot time and Datenkopiererei. I did not think at all to find a laptop that has one for under 500. This one has one, and equal to a large 256GB! An SSD is based on the technology of USB sticks, is somiert extremely fast access times what terms (startup, boot) and has a high data read or write rate (fast copying large amounts of data). She also is shockproof, who had already had an external hard drive, know how sensitive this over shocks / vibrations are. An SSD will thus no harm.
I spoke of the boot time which is the time it takes the computer after you press the "on-switch" needed to display the desktop.
The boot time is here, believe it or only 3, yes three seconds !! (No of Pc, does not start from the energy-saving mode)
Disadvantage:
-There Is no other HDD available, so there are a total of only 256GB of disk space. For some, the may be a problem, because you have some photos / documents / videos. For others who have a lot of photos, or even HD movies, have to decide what you store on your laptop. Windows occupies about 35GB with programs like Firefox, Excel, etc. However, I have with me some programs were installed which deleted. Here one must therefore decide whether 256 GB are sufficient for a.
-RAM
Installed are 4GB RAM, a normal computer, I would not recommend less than 8GB. However, 4GB are quite sufficient, but one has to note that you do not have too many programs open at the same, because one could quickly come to the border.
For multimedia and office tasks 4GB but are sufficient. Who does not know how much RAM (memory) consuming its programs, this can look in Task Manger (right-click on the taskbar -> Start Task Manager -> Select the column above "processes"). Emergency can be upgraded for about 60 to 8GB RAM (Whether everyone in Amazon here, I do not know when I have however seen notebooksbilliger.de)
Graphics card
The laptop has a graphics card installed, it uses the onboard graphics of the CPU, thus is very bad for gaming, not to use up.
I speak here of the current games like BioShock, Far Cry 4. Of course, run games, which can be bought in the Windows Store without problems.
Camera
The quality of the images, the camera is not as good, enough for video calls over Skype, however. Quality is roughly comparable to a cell phone camera
Keyboard:
I should like to make the keyboard, on the one hand it is illuminated, which facilitates working in the dark, on the other hand, the keyboard is made of plastic, which is particularly evident in the middle of these bends down while typing. To what extent the one downside is everybody has to decide for himself. It does not really bother writing, and anxiety need to also not that this something breaks.
-Design:
I bought the laptop in white. The design with white makes a very sophisticated look. The top and sides are kept very clean. The inside is black and brushed aluminum as long as I can tell. Again, everything is clean and you can see no connections. I like the look very good and it seems by no means cheap, but Edlel and professional.
Display:
There is a 15 "Full HD (1920 * 1080 pixels) IPS screen built in. Thanks to IPS technology, colors are reproduced very naturgeträu and contrast. The laptop is thus suitable particularly for viewing / presenting photos. The display is glossy, what again image quality increases, but with the disadvantage that in already weak light on the display a distinct reflection is visible. This is true at maximum brightness of the screen less visible, but does not disappear completely. Avoid you can do this by darkened the room, or . a place looking at which no light falls on the screen. I personally have no problem with that, since one looks at the content on the screen, and is also focused on this. This one falls mirroring on even less. And when disturbing I would not call mirroring.
Furthermore, a touch screen is installed, this works very well, and I could not notice any problems. Very useful is the fact that the display can be rotated by 270 °, so you can use the laptop as Notepad (the keyboard is turned off). A screen keyboard is also vorhande, can the PC, so no problems serve only a touchscreen. I find this feature in conjunction with Windows 8.1 very well done, and it's really fun to work so :)
Connectors:
The laptop has an Ethernet (LAN) connection, and 2x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0, an SD card reader, 1xHDMI, and a headphone port.
A DVD / CD drive is not installed, but can be retrofitted. For me, this was not a disadvantage, since nowadays almost everything is transferred via USB stick. But that was all left to their own :)
-Weight:
I find the laptop easily, I weighed him not, but there are not more than 2kg!
-Price:
The laptop costs just 500, my opinion an undeniable price, especially if one takes again clear that it is a full HD display with touch screen, an SSD with 256 GB RAM, and Windows 8.1 included, is!
Price Performance Top !!!
++++ ++++ CONCLUSION
Anyone looking for a laptop, which he would at home have entertainment (multimedia), but would like to do even professional tasks, has found an almost perfect laptop that fold out for its speed and image quality, as well as his excellent presentation mode (screen 270 ° , select via Windows tile "Photos" folder, then easily present via touch the images) distinguishes!
Who is skeptical about the new Windows or touch, can rest assured. I had this skepticism even initially, and have even told me that I need no touchscreen. Now I'm glad that I have a laptop with touch. Even on Windows 8.1 you get used to quickly. However, it should be an introductory video so you get an overview. It is great fun to scroll simply by touch, drag, zoom, etc. :)
I highly recommend this affordable laptop with very good / fast hardware and top display to anyone who wants a laptop for home, or want to use it professionally / Professional.
