I have the Acer now for about 2 months and can only positive things. He is fast enough for my purposes (video editing and gaming). The hard drive is sufficient so far for larger videos, but better, of course, consider an external hard drive. The only thing I miss what I had in front of my laptop, is the lack of keyboard illumination. But for that I could have take the sister model, but with only 500GB memory, otherwise with identical features.
