Have therefore risen this remote trigger about six months ago and I am looking forward in addition to the mentioned negative points of its predecessor over absolutely useful TTL.
I use the kit in combination with the Nikon D700, a SB-900, and from time to time the Yongnuo YN-658 usually in a single light setup outdoors.
As I previously always had to help out with gray filters in order to reasonably use open aperture effects, seems to me the ability to go up to 1 / 8000s, very pretty. Note you have here, of course, that the SB-900 in the short exposure duration in the "FP mode" goes, which means that the flash produces a continuous light, so to speak, in order to operate synchronously with the camera shutter.
I quote this time the manual:
At 50 mm / ISO 100 / FX, the SB-900 is a guide number of 40, when he fires the full power.
Is it with the same values forced to switch (100 / FX 50 mm / ISO) to FP, the guide number is reduced to 18.4.
So complete it comes in an extreme case even to Graufilter around - or you can use, for example in such a case, still a second flash, with the doubling the performance.
TTL I use the way from purchase surprisingly often, because it works very well even off the camera and quick position changes allowed. Distances between a few centimeters up to about 90m are absolutely no problem here.
Another point are the batteries used. In addition to the flashing my battery grip is powered by regular AA batteries. So I have this anyway in the luggage and not have to get an additional non-rechargeable battery type (CR2) bother.
What I would not previously have thought: A dedicated Stop Button is absolutely helpful. When stations of RF-602 I felt more so that he landed somewhere so unhappy in his pocket, that the release button has been pressed consistently what had dead batteries result. The recommended method, some foam rubber to stick to this button, the dissolved, but is just only provisionally.
With the current slide switches you have to be careful though when packing something, because they are very smooth - better than no button but they are all.
What's been noticed something negative to me:
The plastic of the set screws touches his not very pleasant to the touch. By sharp / sharp edges dissolving in a little harder delivered drehter assurance hurts quite strong.
When handling it can occur due to an unfavorable placement and easy movement of the controls that you get inadvertently in the channel or test button. In case of malfunction you should consider whether any of the right channel or the correct group is active so first.
Rather neutral I regard the fact that the LEDs are not dimmable or switchable. In very dark conditions the wild flash can interfere sometimes. But the benefits outweigh the quick verifiability of channel and standby, which is not so tragic.
To sum things up, the prospects set so absolutely recommend. High reliability, HSS and TTL you get here at a quite reasonable price.

Addendum:
In combination with the new Nikon D750 it was with me now repeatedly misfires. Currently, I am still waiting for a feedback from Yongnuo, why this might be.
For the Flash Controller YN622N-TX there was at least already an update. In the absence of a USB port, this will not be eligible for the YN622N well, it should be due to a Inkompatibilät.

... Unfortunately, Yongnuo not answer this. In the meantime, no longer did this problem but. Perhaps it was also due to a problem of the D750, for by now there was a firmware update.
If a reader have the combination also, I would be grateful for a comment and review.

Meanwhile, an article came out, stating that the hot shoe of the D750 is slightly longer compared with previous models - and it may therefore be incompatibilities due not exactly sitting Pins. If errors occur, to bring remedy to use a small cardboard strip.
In my case I found that also helps a little straighten after fitting and then tighten.
The contribution to this ShoeMount abnormality I link in the comments.

Questions or comments I answer very much in the comments. If you do not agree with the report, I would also be grateful for a short note.
