I had real privacy expected because of the gaps of ca.0,5 cm to 1 cm - is not really given. The figure suggests that the bamboo material is cheek by jowl, is virtually opaque. I took the mat twice and the screening is still to be fully met. To buy such items locally at the hardware store would be better.
