When I had the last time the abgsaugt pool floor by my quartz sand filter was the fine dirt through the return (quite green) back into the pool. This prompted me to embark on this new path. When I the first time been sucked the ground again, ran absolutely no fine particles back into the pool. Even with the backwashing it is exactly as described, much shorter, about 3-4 minutes, then the water in the sight glass of the filter is clear again, briefly rinse and you're done.
