Finally no pigeon-Kaka on my balcony more! ... :-)

I have 6 pieces of 50 cm long 2-row tipped spike strips on the supplier MD-sale (DMD Schwaben Team, Michael Dreher) ordered them on something to bring long railing of my balcony as Taubenabwehr over 3 m. To attach I have only once used remnants of old clothesline. Maybe I will replace it later with another fastening material such as cable ties or the like.

The product makes a very classy look and is well made. The bar is made of a nearly colorless transparent plastic. According to the supplier UV-resistant, which gives hope that this plastic due to destructive effect of sunlight is not as fast crumbling, but keeps longer. I suppose the manufacturers opting for the use of this material has been carefully considered, and it offers more advantages than disadvantages.

The spike strips were delivered thanks to the rapidity by the consignor and by DHL the very next day after the order in a reasonable sized cardboard packaging without filling packing material. The spike strips have transportation survived, and filling packing material would be here probably rather exaggerated and have another burden on the environment.

At the new look of my balcony-railing I got used quickly. Best of all, however: No burdensome legacies of the pigeons more! And noise only in flyby or if they do land somewhere at the neighbors.
