He runs and runs and runs. Clear the graphics card has become a bit mittelklassiger than buying, but play goes without problems with current titles in useful settings. With SSD highly recommended. The purchase of the equipment was worth it.
----- What was important to me before buying: -----
, matte screen
, more than just HD Ready resolution in 15,6zoll !!!
, a low fan noise
, a viable graphics card
, QuadCore Ivybridge possible
, Battery life would be nice
, Price around 1000
Once I held the notebook in my hands, I was just thrilled. First noticed me packing: beautifully made, well stocked and with a driver CD supplied. The first was an experience to enable, the display has first evening blinded me and I've settled down. It's definitely light when you need it, such as outside in direct sun.
----- Display: -----
Matt +
+ Very wide viewing angle, the three of the laptop is no longer a problem (try the times when a Dell Vostro!)
+ Very light, medium setting is usually sufficient completely
+ Outside everything is recognizable without "make-up mirror effect" and it is bright enough to radiate from direct sun.
+ Size of the display is very good to work with Excel or Word, you can see something.
+ On the back lights up the ASUS logo in white - looks very cool!
For processing power, I can say that I am fully satisfied. Did it with Fold.it trying times with proteins fold something to lure from the reserve goes without problems on good scores. Kane and Lynch 2 on the highest settings with really all frills to full power takes place without any problems, the GT650 is thoroughly recommended to my tests.
----- Graphics: -----
+ GT650 in DDR3 Ram version completely TOP
+ Games are no problem with GT650, GT630 that looks at again not quite as good
+ Proteins fold with Fold.it leads to very good results
+ Unigraphics NX7.5 stable and with very good performance, as well as in Inventor 2012
The overall impression, so it is not too much text is good. It's Performance-wise exactly what I was looking for. The fan itself is only slightly heard under load and really quiet. Display is perfect for working on the laptop.
@@@@Conclusion:@@@@
+ Faster quad-core with Ivybridge
+ 8 Ram with 1600MHZ
+ Rating with Samsung's 830SSD
Processor 7.6
Ram 7.8
Graphic 6.7
Graphics (Sp) 6.7
Disks. 7.9
+ Fan is in the green zone, but not silently quietly
+ Housing is stable and noble
+ Keyboard is very good, are writing the perfect feeling
+ Numberpad is available
+ Shining logo on the back
+ Sound is even without a subwoofer a huge difference to the usual tinny sound of some laptops
- Numberpad numbers are a bit small
- Black lid is very susceptible to fingerprints
- When I want a promotional sticker was placed wrong. I'll do that anyway from, but it is immediately noticeable and should not be so in the price range!
- Something too many screws to the disk tray removed for SSD installation, coverage was only one screw!
Approximately +/- the battery lasts 4hrs at Office and some Internet - that's ok in this lush performance!
Overall, a future-proof instrument for a good price, so just buy it!
