I have received the device today and the same mistake ever as described here. He throws me just brand new CDs out. Moreover, it sometimes cracks between tracks, which is not located on the CD. I will exchange the unit also.
The sound is usually quite good and tired when you leave the bass from -1 to 4 (can be set from -4 to 4). Overall, the bass is a bit too aggressive and if you "minimize" it to the desired size, so that one's neighbors is not just around the corner queuing (-4), sounds the sound in the high places sometimes a bit thin.
But compared genuinely worth listening to and if you like bass, much bass there with anything else of me belonged device !!! Unbelievable what comes out of the little box.
