Inside, we find a nice big remote control, a roller which is the wifi hub which then driver bluetooth or infrared different devices (or devices), a charging base, 2 mini USB cables with different power adapters, and 2 infrared cells connected with a mini jack to DVD recorders, for example.
The setting of all is from the site [...] We first must install an extension to the browser (Chrome in my case), then connect the USB hub. Then setting the wifi connection with its network returning his password. An update of the firmware hub is then downloaded automatically.
The 2nd step is to connect the USB remote control. The mini USB port is this time hidden under a plastic tab that appears very fragile. An update of this remote control is also performed automatically.
The 3rd step is to record all the "features" that we want to control (TV, DVD player, bluray, amp, game consoles, ...). I was pleasantly surprised to find no problem my TV Sony W4000, my bluray player Sony S590, my DVD recorders Sony HX710 and HX725, a PS3 and an old amplifier Pioneer 908 THX.
I was also happy to find quite easily the Freebox Revolution, but without being able to fly with this remote control. I contacted Logitech service that tells me what to buy a USB-IR Dongle IR605Q (the only one compatible) and set its Freebox as a box Alice. This is all the more curious that the video box is easily controllable by wireless gadget PC or smartphone returning the remote control code.
The 4th step is to set the "activities" watch TV, watch a DVD, play on PS3, listen to music, radio, ..
This step synchronizes all necessary actions: turn on the TV, the receiver and the DVD player, get on the right HDMI, set the receiver to the correct channel, etc ...
5. The step allows to choose the "buttons" (icons) associated with each mode. To "watch TV", the indication of the region will display the default logo of DTT channels available, we can only keep his favorites.
The 6th step is the test phase all of these settings. I reset to zero several times seeking the remote to operate the steering Freebox (see above).
The 7th step is optional but ultimately very nice. This is to install and configure the Application Harmony Ultimate on his phone. I had me try several to successfully download and search the wifi hub. When the application connects to the Harmony Hub, recovering all the settings (activities and icons) on the phone.
This application is actually very nice and can be used by simply buying the Harmony hub without remote control.
The remote seems to have a mini infrared transmitter, but if you cut the hub or the wireless network is lost, the remote becomes unusable!
In summary:

- Very wide possibilities (close to the Freebox)
- 2 connections to the necessary sector
- Exorbitant prices,
- Late arrival on the market, Logitech has just announced the judgment of the remote manufacturing and apps on smartphones are now well developed.
