Fits also for Nexus 4

This mobile phone holder I bought for my Google Nexus 4.
After one of the reviewers wrote here his Samsung Galaxy 3 passe just so pure, I was a little surprised that my Nexus, which is only slightly smaller than the Galaxy 3, but found no problems in the shell space. More than that, it was even enough space left that the film was not quite tight on the display, but was slightly curved at the edges. It could - could - it lead to slight problems with the operation of your smartphone, if you really want to also use the touch screen in the far periphery. I have tried it but did not, because I left a part of the assembly instructions of cardboard that comes with the shell, the same as filling in there - so sit my N4 now absolutely fixed in it and the film no longer bulges.

The holder makes a solid impression, the click mechanism works and the smartphone can be as described in the instructions rotate well. On my first 100km tour I had in any case no problems with it and never the impression that the construction would not hold.

One point deduction, there still. On longer tours a smartphone without an external power supply is relatively meaningless. Therefore, it should also have the corresponding recess for a cable as a mobile phone holder. Well, the instructions of this model while suggesting this possibility - for an iPhone because its relatively flat plug fails. Any other smartphones account shall be left out. Even with a comparable flat, angled MicroUSB cable for non-Apple devices can not connect with my N4 sheath. So you do not want to do without the external power supply, you would have to take a smaller device (in length) - but then the problem comes with the curvature of the film and probably in general to the non-permanent seat of the smartphone in the holder. This point, the manufacturer has probably not really thought through.
