Specifically, I have tried a Minolta 35-70 f3.5 on this adapter. At maximum magnification on the screen you can see that the focus is not maintained when zooming, but what he usually does at the lens. But the change is not great that it would not be possible, according to manually adjust the focus (when using a tripod stable).
