The cover actually fits even better than the original on the Nikon 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm my into the wells to open I can not get my (actually quite small) fingers though, but you can, as with Nikon's original, simply by press outside.
The lid keeps exactly what it promises, and compared to the original even laughably low.
