I purchased this adapter for my iphone (2G), since it is the non-Apple case In ear headphones, always had problems because the input jack on the iPhone at an angle and the casing of the plug was too wide, no firm contact be made.
This adapter does the job excellently. He is stuck in the Iphone because nothing wobbles. So you can also use third-party headphones, which so far have problems with the contact of the plug, easily. And that for a low price.
I am very pleased.
