About the Lens
It's like any lens Fuji processed very clean and gives an impression of high quality. The lower part contains two switches, one for the stabilization and an Auto-iris lens, for those who do not want to shoot. For a label with aperture values lacked Fuji probably on white paint or place. Who turns on the aperture ring, sees value only in the viewfinder or on the LCD. Could criticize, but does not really bother.
The lens is softly focused quickly and accurately and has a zoom in this price range even at maximum aperture already a top image quality. In addition, it lists little at wide angle, or the camera corrects it already very good. By one dimmed two values, it achieves the highest resolution values that are likely to satisfy every owner Fuji. The fixed focal lengths are of course a little better, but not as noticeable as with standard zoom from other manufacturers.
Even the image stabilizer works great and is not as loud as in some Sigma lenses.
Conclusion:
A real recommendation for all Fuji owners who need a standard zoom and do not want to hurt the pure Kunsstoffvariante of 16-50 XC. (Although looks cheap is fainter, but also has a very good image quality)
This one fits better to the camera focuses faster and brighter. Would be to call the 18-135 as an alternative, but that seems a bit over priced to me at the current price.
