I do not know the original Canon product, but to take a battery "Canon" I was able to get the full kit. - The batteries are fully recognized by the camera (be careful we must all share both a charger that Canon does not load) - The grip is of good quality, it seems solid and a nice finish and offset functions work perfectly. - The remote control allows remote triggering even without grip
++ I recommend this product is really good for the price of an original battery.
