Here's a little tip from me:
Who wants to connect his S4100 at a senior home cinema.
The connection from the Blu-ray player only has a coaxial connection. My Home-Cinema (Grundig Cinemo 3400 DR) has AV analog ports, Scart and optical connectors. (Toslink)
The Toslink connector can be connected (to the plant, Optical input) without any problems with a coaxial input on Toslink output (optical) converter.
One need not buy expensive Umandler. I have a bought for 9.50 at Amazon (Wentronic). The works brilliantly and transfers actually in my Grundig home cinema and DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital in Dolby Pro Logic II version! In other words, at the GRUNDIG facility please Pro Logic II in "music" or adjust "movie". On Blue Ray Player must be adjusted while adjusting the audio finale to "PCM" and the surround sound on "Surround". Works just fine with me. In addition, one must have a coax cable to the converter and a Toslink cable from the converter !!! The complex! moreover, buy.
Also toslink need not be expensive.
These are my experiences.
I hope this report will help one or two further.
