The cover of the pillow (top: cotton flannel) is soft and the plaid relatively insensitive to stains. The filling can shake well and fits perfectly to the respective head on. Size in the state of sleep: approx 33x20xcm. This roughly corresponds to the size of a DIN A4 sheet. Height approx 8 cm. More does not need to embed on treks his weary head.
Who the pillow is too low (eg for people who like to sleep on your side) I recommend, including to put a small, inflatable camping pillow, which can then be varied as required in height. So to handle large packets that fill only the backpack or panniers.
A detailed care instructions sewn to the pad. Whoever adheres to it, will have a lot of fun with it - and relaxing nights in a wonderful soft cushions.

After just two weeks camping holiday I can draw the following conclusion: sun feeling fantastic. No problems, no neck pain, nothing. The pillow smells completely neutral (despite several rainy nights). Under the pillow I had placed an inflatable camping pillow in almost the same size, so I could vary the amount of what (often not quite level) was very helpful due to varying soil conditions.
When I again wanted to sleep in my normal bed the first night and lay down on my normal pillows (about 3 times as large as the Camping pillow) I believed to rest on an inflated balloon. I threw the normal pillow from the bed, took the Camping pillow, put my head on - and immediately fell asleep.
Why do we need so huge pillow in bed?
