There are comparisons that you probably should not ask because two unequal opponents meet. For me it was the existing Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones, silver / black as top dog in the field Noise Cancelling. Now the development of Tehnik goes ahead rapidly and attracted me the comparison, if there could be perhaps "young guns" that can bring about a significantly lower price a similar performance as the more than 200 expensive Bose headphones. A direct comparison after unpacking the headphones makes a high impression, which comes pretty close to the Bose. The equipment is similar, there is an adapter for airplane, a cable, the iPhone is compatible and even allows the phone as handsfree to the Creative. So far as at a high level. Properly original battery is placed: the outside of the headphone will be turned and revealed the car park for the battery. But now the first hearing impression without activated noise reduction. A first point goes to the Creative, because that is also heard, without the noise suppression needs to be enabled. So it's a headset that can be operated both passively and actively. The bass at Creative are powerful, the ups more restrained, it remains the bass heavy impression, but which I really like. The alleged difference, reported the other reviewers between active and passive, she will not reveal to me, in both modes, the sound is very close to one another and hardly distinguishable. Yes, the Bose is in the direct sound comparison more restrained than the Creative. Now the direct comparison to the notebook at a very high-resolution piece of music with lots of bass and various interlocking woven high-frequency components from the tune of CD - Prayer for Compassion. The clear winner here is the Bose headphones, the clean spatially resolves the different frequencies and is fairly neutral. By contrast, the resolution sounds rather mushy at Creative. The powerful bass but a clean separation of different heights is again difficult to see. Two other pieces of music by Peter Gabriel and nosie Katzman bring the same impression. Strong bass at Creative but poorly differentiated heights. And here is already evident after about 10 minutes that the Creative compared to Bose unpleasant turns in comfort. The Bose headphones fit perfectly over the ears, the Creative sits on the ears. And with much more tension in the contact pressure! After a few minutes it begins to be unpleasant. Bose, however, can be kept for hours on the ears, it can! Clear points victory for the Bose. Now the noise compared with Noise Reduction. Here tested on the train. The Creative filters the bassy frequencies out quite well. The mids and highs to noise, however I will stay involved in the events around me. With Bose This looks different. It surrounds me from the first moment a fundamental silence that is außerordetnlich pleasant. Under the Bose it is really quiet and significantly more subdued! The plane comparison is still outstanding, but I suspect that there will be no real dramatic new findings as the Creative, but the low frequency filters out well, I expect a significant reduction in noise on the plane! During a telephone conversation, the difference is less dramatic when receiving. I hear both the interlocutor well. But my interlocutor experienced Bose Microphone another quality than Creative. The difference is not dramatic but still clear. So now the conclusion, if you want to travel really reduces noise for a long time, has to resort to Bose, if that is financially sustainable. The Bose wears easily, walks all over his ears, has virtually no pressure on the ears and reduce the noise around me impressive! Who both noise reduction on the train or airplane will, as expected an acceptable sound may well pick up the Creative and gets a decent sound of even passive headphones. But there are also hot ears after about 5-10 minutes. Who is tolerant, may well pick up the creatve. Better is the enemy of the good! This remains as a result for me at the end. It turns out that Bose has significantly exhibit more research and experience in terms of the range Noise Canvelling, who is not prepared but, for spending some 330, while Creative includes an alternative to, although lower level but with serious approaches to quality. I would like to be awarded 4 stars, but with the hot ears that I got and the vermatschten highs remain in the end only 3 stars.
