Caveat: It is my second TP-Link router and I have to say that I was skeptical at first.
At first I just wanted to have a router, which is capable of a wireless network (EasyBox) again
to make a LAN network. That was not my old TP-Link router namely.
When I finally put the router in reception, I needed the function already
not more. We have just a hole drilled in the meantime through the ceiling - Still
has already done more often than paid for me the router.
A clear advantage has the router through the USB stick:
We had many failures because Vodafone is not capable / was to provide us with stable Internet available.
That's why I have my Internet Stick connected directly to the router and the two have from the outset a
delivered good team (UMTS Stick: E173U-2 of Huawai). Thus, any failure had to be cleared immediately.
Now if you still have a good deal, which a late or not at all then throttles is perfect.
(Yes, there is such tariffs ;-))
For advanced users, there is still a great thing:
The router is supported by DD-WRT. This means that you can explore many great things to the router
do. One has the possibility several WLAN networks to make available, for example, for guests or
to provided with a hotspot software (Just looking "DD-WRT" into Google)
The WLAN range of routers is good - can here and I would like, however, unwilling to comment because:
1.) I only use LAN, also with the laptop - to play games much better :-)
2.) DD-WRT is a little hindrance from the WLAN, follow me. Since OpenWRT should be better.
Please note, however, that you by DD-WRT and OpenWRT etc the warranty on the router loses. That has
played with me but not really matter because I bought the router anyway Amazon Warehouse Deals.
Also, the router must then use in computer science education more often with already in the "school bag" to him,
so we do not need to surf through the school network but use the stick - but that's also garkein problem
been for the router, not the number of clients - nor the smuggling.
I wish no other router more and hope that he will stay with me for a few years - then I have
the perfect TP-Link router :-)
I hope I could help you with the review - If yes / no: please reviewed all that I
have an idea whether I should continue to write reviews - I answer questions of course very happy :-)
