As they came too late (no complaints!) For the intended application, should a detailed
Unfortunately test until the next distribution remodeling follow.
A first short test brings the following result:
1.) crimps are fixed and see at first glance, good. The crimped structure is different
from what I. made by Weidmüller & Co know, but must mean anything negative. If
the final extent of crimping is good enough to for example two or 6² 10² veins in an RCD input
to lead, remains to be determined yet.
2.) The clamp is sufficiently comfortable to hold. The handles are unfortunately hard and certainly not ergonomically
perfectly formed. For occasional use but good enough.
3.) The expended for crimping force is quite high. Here expensive products can definitely score.
For crimping a 10mm² wire I needed both hands!
In summary, I would say that the pliers for my occasional use really "good enough"
is. Every day or more often, but I would not want to work with these pliers. In this case, would
I enter products from Klauke, Weidmüller or Knippex preference.
So, a "good enough" product, which possibly with a little additional lubrication (Trockengleitspray, Ballistol
or WD40) can be optimized.
