First of all:
If you want to actually make more trips with "full equipment", should either look right for another model, or to set a secondary pack. For the comfort of this backpack is something "restricted" and not comparable with the. Of example Lowepro or Tamrac backpacks. However, these costs indeed mostly even more than twice.
This is mainly due to the too small padding of the shoulder straps, which are expected to be additionally also quiet a little longer wide and padded. And even if you have stored a notebook / laptop in the compartment provided, this feels like a board in the back.
Without (heavy) Laptop up to a total weight of approximately 6 kg, it wears on the other hand quite comfortably!
The strengths and advantages:
I've been searching for a suitable photo backpack, while about 15 different models in the price range of this one to ~ 130, - tested, only to end namely this one to end up with the least expensive model.
For me it was important that I primarily my entire equipment consisting of:
- Canon EOS 650D with battery grip
- Canon 40mm f / 2.8
- Canon 50mm f / 1.8
- Canon 18-135mm f / 3.5-5.6
- Canon 55-250mm f / 4-5.6
- Yongnuo Speedlite YN-565 EX II flash
- Backlight / lens hoods on all lenses
- Filter
-. TP-Link router with mounting hardware for attaching to the hot shoe
can comfortably accommodate in the bag for storage and transport (preferably in the car and not on the back). And both my "always-on" lens (18-135mm), and the battery grip can remain on Body. In addition, even the laptop (HP Elitebook 8540w, 15.6 ") should if necessary with fit (without being have to worry that it will be crushed).
All these requirements are met, the backpack with flying colors. He has expressed a lot of storage space, which you can thanks to the numerous dividers also use quite optimal.
And unlike many other models, while all promise in the item description that Laptop to 17 to find a place, "it is in this part here but actually like that. In most other backpacks the problem is usually in the thickness (height) of the laptop, so often just not even fits my 15.6 "laptop, but most Ultrabooks, the max. Are 2cm thick.
What also bothered me in many other models massively is that the lid / cover of the camera interior compartment could be opened never that they remained open on their own. Also this shortcoming does not exist here. You can open the lid, and it remains open, so you are all his equipment in the inner compartment easily accessible in front of him.
Of course, this backpack is not perfect, and certainly offers room for (detailed) improvements.
So the bottom of the backpack is eg. Not protected, and also has no feet.
And while the right two loops are present, you look on the left side after vain
The zippers are not covered. But this is a rain protection while I've normally stowed in the left outside pocket so that it even when it is still wet, does not have the inside of the backpack.
Conclusion:
Super Backpack for storage and transportation - suitable as hiking backpack only conditionally.
The materials are the price range accordingly not necessarily all the quality and the processing is still just be described as good, but that does not bother me personally. Because at that price I can wear 3 of those things, and am still cheaper than having so many other model. And if that actually hold then also three times as long, one can foresee indeed no promise or even guarantee! ;-)
