for color backlight

Although of course the size is given, I was surprised at how big the lamp is actually. So voluminous like a football but it is luckily not. On the bottom, the ball is flattened (the rubberized surface is about the size of an old 5-DM-piece) so that the lamp has a pretty secure footing. However, there is no possibility to vary the orientation.

The light is switched on and off by lightly touching the switch. The color is selected by driven along the color wheel. So then also color transitions between yellow and red, red and violet, purple and blue, are selected. While the indication that are more than 250 colors to choose from may sound bombastic, but I think hardly anyone perceives these smooth transitions at all. An automatic color change can not be adjusted.

Usually the color is very intense, depending of course on the appropriate choice. However, the lamp can only be used for backlighting, as a reading light, it is due to the low intensity that can not be changed, not suitable.
I'd beam (with a significant color intensity), is thrown against the wall, denoted by approximately a diameter of one meter, this of course depends on how closely the lamp is on the wall.
