The space between the mounting frame (specifically the two spring coils, which are very good) and the actual lamp is closely sized just for turning the lamp into the thread of the mounting frame still space. But if one has, as I (and as prescribed in the Vienna Building Regulations), a two-layer gypsum ceiling, then the supernatant spring coil has less space outside and bends inward.
