I have the smartbook SURFER just added myself because I wanted to get to know and wanted to have a quiet ANDROID fast (= start Booted clear) surf Tablet / surfing opportunities for couch / bed and was pleased with the price compared to the iPad and Samsung Galaxy !!!
POSITIVE but 4Sterne because:
- The part of the "just" surfing origin. completely sufficient to the partly. insufficient FLASH presentation
- The part is a great eBook reader
- The price is ok for
- The display is bright and easy to read
-. The battery life of about 3 hours for me is completely sufficient
- YOUTUBE videos are displayed without jerking
- There are free apps for games, email and inform, make the real fun
- CONCLUSION: 4 stars because probably with some unfortunately time-consuming and tricks interventions (see URL below) can be brought out much and "reloaded" (incomprehensible that this is not hinkriegt the manufacturer / distributor)
NEGATIVE only 4 stars because:
- Is the device (like almost all of the computer / mobile segment) are not yet fully developed
- Access to Google AppStore only indirectly (see [...])
- The touchscreen sometimes going up and down scroll is hackelig (you must concern fixed press)
- The use of lying on the back of 4 navigation keys is a gamble and is getting used to
- Not all Flash content is displayed
- PDF is not displayed by default (have not found a useful APP ?!)
- I've found so far no Office-like tools (mini-Word / -Excel etc.)
- The part quite long takes to boot (my EEE PC Netbook is ready to go more quickly from Hibernate)
- The part does not display any video format, providing my Cameras / -PC default)
- The music player on board is only equipped spartan (Equalizer, etc. Cover display are missing)
- He has only a 2.5mm jack and the supplied earphones only mediocre sound supplies ...
- ...
not yet tested personal I:
- HDMI output (which on the couch / under the sheets ???)
- ...
CONCLUSION: for me is the size, battery life and price and service for this play and surf craft as just okay (3.75 rounded star = 4), so I keep it ...
... And hope make more good apps fun and more good and Tips- Tricks sources such as the above-mentioned URL !!!
So for more tips (Apps) I am happy to have ...
... Android is fun ...
