As my predecessor conditioning as I said already a Panasonic was, I thought, with this I could not go wrong. And this is so. The system is optically kept very simple, which I like very well.
The functions of the system are working properly and reliably. I tried to summarize each area.
3.5 mm jack output on the top
I use personally do not, because I when I listen to music through the system, the boxes and use any headphones.
Function does the socket wonderful. The volume control corresponds to 1: 1 as the playback boxes - ie 1 is the minimum volume and barely audible, 50 is maximum and a bit too loud for normal hearing ...
Sound default course primarily headphone dependent. For me personally, not useful, but vital for anyone else.

iPhone Dock
The iPhone 5 Dock works impeccably. The iPhone connected securely to the connector, even though - as usual - unfortunately without shell. 1A sound, absolutely nothing to complain about. The device loads reliably even if the system is in standby mode.
Extremely solved sense I find the opportunity to shimmy remotely through the folder structure in the music program and so comfortably from the sofa of a song back to the artist, continues to move to the next artist, and in his albums and songs.
CD
The CD player plays clean, only at lower volume of my sensation after sometimes discreetly heard in the background. The jump, skip taking compared with my old Panasonic noticeably longer to complete, but is still in the frame.
Since the CD player does not buy nor particularly relevant for me, I can overlook good about it.
Bluetooth
Transfer via Bluetooth super high, the connection to my smartphone is within a few seconds of equip. The first connection was fast, easy even Bluetooth to accept pairing request, finished. A matter of 30 seconds.
When several devices are registered, you can disconnecten by the "Play Menu" button on the remote and relatively quickly connect another device (only disconnecten remotely known to work better than just Bluetooth off at the source).
DAB / DAB +
DAB (+) is top notch, receiving top with me in the Stuttgart area with currently 32 stations. Einzuspeichern are unfortunately "only" 20 channels. When advancing from stored stations unoccupied spaces are automatically skipped. Sound quality - as expected - very well. The current program more useful information such as station name and songs will always be shown incl. Interpreter. Very nice - I do not want to miss: D Hope difficult times, there come some stations it!
FM
In normal FM reception only the frequency appears, unfortunately, no information via RDS. Is my opinion, but to get over, because you can storing up to 30 frequencies and these can then be called up directly on the remote control.
Here Empty presets will be skipped not right, you have to manually profile of occupied numbers.
AUX
There is an AUX input in 2-cinch design on the rear of the system. Looks very clean as far as processed and sits very firmly in general very stable housing. Have no suitable cable to test the AUX input, but go heavy on the assumption that the system here can convince just as in all other respects. Defect test I do not rate it with the function, only the presence.
USB / iPad port
I use the USB port for lack of iPad with a USB flash drive. Works flawlessly, songs are clean read and played. The USB flash drive can not only music to be present, everything is not in MP3 format on the stick will be automatically skipped by the system.

The system consists of a very sturdy metal frame, the front I suspect aluminum. The keys sit firmly in all body of the device and make a reliable and high-quality impression. Bass and Treble are adjustable mechanically via knob and without sound interruption. What I really like is that the volume control is relatively difficult to turn. The plant has 50 different volume levels; 0 is minimum, 50 maximum volume.
The 2-in-1 DAB (+) / FM wire antenna is just 150cm long and supplies with me despite mediocre position good reception.
Boxing:
Better than expected! Damn good and rich sound, especially with DAB + just awesome. Here Panasonic has done a great job.
In my opinion, with 3 different speakers per box, an audible difference to my old system. The system has a subwoofer - but they do not need too! The boxes are enough to feel something, to bring in supplies by Surround (noticeably better sound) even to the ground to vibrate slightly; D
The removable grid on both boxes facilitate the cleaning and style the system on request also visually quite by.
The fortifications make a very solid impression, would require even violence if they are brought to sagging.
Remote Control:
A numeric keypad - Hallelujah! Thank Panasonic!
Functionally, nothing to complain about, everything you need it and on it. In my opinion, the keys are mounted very intuitive and easier seriously the operation of the plant. Already my predecessor Pansonic has convinced me and this has confirmed to me here as a top brand for Panasonic stereos.

PS: For those who find this system can not enough, there's the PMX9 series from Panasonic, this can really do nothing to be desired!
