I can understand that many reviews here are negative. After the first half hour playing I was pretty disappointed. This was mainly due to the jerk leagues graphics, as well as the races were kind of boring.
Luckily, I still continued to play a little, because after the beginning it just gets better! From the third car (after about 2 hours) the races do then also really fun. Even so much that I have the Game 4 by plays! Therefore, it is a total for me personally even the best NFS part:

+ The best selection of cars (divided into American, European and Japanese - so something for everyone)
+ The best sound (love the squealing tires and the engine sound)
+ Good graphics
+ Relatively easy control
+ Diverse tuning options (ok that one knows from all parts NFS)
o is the story quite ok (not that that would be important in a racing game)
o the music is quite ok (not as good as in Most Wanted)
- Boring beginning with relatively lame cars ...
- Grafikruckler (have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT)
