Decisive for the purchase of Acer C710 in March 2014 was the built-in Ethernet port (RJ45), which had currently implemented no other Chromebook. Since I have all located in house IT equipment (PC, printer, TV, camera, etc. via Wi-Fi, I was missing near the router (Fritzbox) a console PC, which in the case of wireless interference via Ethernet directly to can access the Fritz box. Another aspect of using a ChromeOS notebook, was the fast boot time and the complete AutoUpdate all applications. I am very happy with the Acer C710. The adjustable power mode, it goes with me after 20 minutes of inactivity in sleep mode . If wanted, it is for a wiper on the touchpad or press a key after one second ready. Once a week, I use the Acer C710 also for surfing in the living room or on the terrace. But then wirelessly via WLAN and on battery power (battery Training :-)).
