For my needs, Ideal

After my old cable-loaded Hama CS-188 (was okay) gradually gave up to the spirit, I had to look around for a replacement. A wireless headset, it should be this time.
I opted for this Logitech product, because I have the mouse (G5) and the normal PC speakers very good experience already with my keyboard (G15).

Unboxing (German: unpack)
Headphones with Charging Cable (three meters), USB stick antennas with an optional extension and manuals with manufacturer's instructions in several languages. All practical and economically in a transparent packaging.

Commissioning:
plug-and-play as you want it. Antenna into a USB port. Headset on. Setting up and ready. My computer is running 32-bit Windows Vista, there were no complications with my Creative sound card or the like. Skype, for example, has directly detected the hardware on the first run and adapted its configuration.

Sound / communication:
I can understand my interlocutor via Skype and TeamSpeak3 very good. As for my voice quality, the comments have almost falling over. This must be seen, however, to the old headset now almost useless in relation. It cracks or rattled so far only under difficult conditions. The headset I use primarily for communication eg in online role-playing games, I only hear some music through the headset and can not give detailed information about the suitability of this. For a couple of songs on YouTube in between there is quite enough to me

Coverage:
inside my apartment has the headset actually everywhere reception. Directly behind the load-bearing walls, it can temporarily to a connection loss (crack) come on both sides, but I have the antenna plugged into the back of the calculator as recommended by the manufacturer. This should in my estimation, but account for only a minimal factor.

Comfort:
However, the neckband is adjustable in width, the pressure on the ear cups being felt. For me, okay, for another perhaps a little too strict. But the seat is always properly. I guess that will be the time, if necessary, one can by the storage as needed something stretch (eg via the computer span).
The controls on the page are not fully exploited by me, except for the volume control.

Conclusion:
the headset is not a gamer's headset, but shines quite as suitable for everyday use all-round device. The environment continues to be very well perceived. For me one last Plus, I have small children and can thus also at night an ear hold on them, yet comfortably after my Feierabend activities on the computer. The ability to provide the micro through folded away to silent I find very convenient.
