here the whole story: In a review written here: Download and USB simultaneously on small Windows tablet ... that's why I bought it.

It does not work on the 7 "and 8" HP stream, and NOT to the Dell 7 "and 8" Win8 devices ... in this regard I am very disappointed - but is not included in the review!

The cable itself works but: External 2.5 "hard disk without complementary domestic power supply with the device to my laptop ok - only the plate (without cable) does not work at times ...

The cable is "cheap" processed, but it works. Relatively short by the red "power" cables to bring a plug adapter ...

3 stars should be ok - more under any circumstances !.
