For the price I'll take a few little irritations like the purchase

I had thought long between tablet and smartphone when I got a promotional mail for the Asus tablet from Amazon. I thought the price was very attractive and read me pretty deep in the consistently very positive reviews a. Now after a few days (and many hours with the new toy), some first impressions and experiences:

- The model on offer was dark blue, delivered was white. White I do not like so much but I was so hungry for the new toy that I did not want to return because only the color. But as another reviewer has noted, on the back you can see every speck of dust and every crumb.

- The enclosed manual was very poor with no reference to a website where you could bring more information into experience. Since helped me do a Google search and I was able to download the full version and save more useful.

- If you choose German as the language, you are confronted with texts that read like a machine translated and are often difficult to understand. Better I find the English version.

- It is emphasized even in the included manual, that you should not leave it hanging from the charger Tablet when it is fully charged. Charging of pretty empty to 100% takes about 4 hours. That means that you do not like many other electronic devices easily can charge overnight, the tablet, unless one makes the alarm to unplug the device in time.

- The picture often changes unexpectedly after a minimum unconscious movement from portrait to landscape mode and I'll take it then difficult again to portrait. I hope I get this soon in the motor 'pure.

+ Color, sound, speed, etc. can be nothing to be desired. I also like another reviewer noticed that you can have open without problems a lot of tabs. As a newcomer I lose easily keep track of the open tabs.

+ This is my first tablet, so I can not draw any comparisons, but so far I see absolutely no reason to spend three times as much for an iPad or other much more expensive tablet.

Anyone who like me a usable tablet but does not want at all costs, I can put the Asus MemoPad warmly.
