- Only microwave (grill I do not need)
- With Handle
- With digital clock, because I set like sometimes just 20 seconds (for example, frozen butter to thaw)
Already these few requirements meant that 80% of the models were dropped. The short list was then the new Sharp and the ECG MTD 231 S. I chose because of the good experiences with the previous model for the Sharp. Now I send the Sharp back. Reasons:
- The Sharp is quite expensive that it's just a microwave. That alone would have no problem, but:
- The beeper is incredibly loud and beeps really with anything. When turning, switch, program start, program end, and so on. A Kakaphonie of beeps. Can you switch off the beeper does not - why not? For each machine, every TV you can now shut down the system sounds.
- The "Quick Start" is a joke. When older model that went like this: rotate until the desired number of seconds, the display shows + press Start. The new model goes like this:
- - Press once on "Microwave" -> percentage of power is the display
- - Press again to confirm the 100%
- - Turn the wheel to adjust the time
- - Press Start
Under a "quick start" I imagine what else to do ...
- The Sharp slips all extreme.
- The plate is overall pretty wobbly, creating a cheap impression (only that the device is quite expensive ...)
- On the side of the interior of a steam vent that leads into the electrical system is (I think I spider)
Overall, these are an expensive device too many toads that one would have to swallow for so. Beyond the pale. Now I buy the ECG MTD 231 S microwave and have made myself on the Internet ever smart. Lo and behold, this much more favorable unit has a quick start as the old Sharp. Go then.
