This really is very little money for a system camera with OSS lens (anti-shake), viewfinder, eingeb. Flash, hotshoe, Charger, sun visor and especially a full APS-C sensor (unlike many other more expensive system cameras). Add to this the many great features and good user interface.
The included SEL-1855 lens is okay (because of the crop factor of 1.53 is actually 27 to 84mm focal length). Really good is it with the SEL-18200 OSS Objekiv ("true" 27 to 300mm). This we have at the time purchased with one of the first with Sony NEX-5. Since then is also the advantage of the larger housing compared with NEX-5: in spite of the heavy lens, the camera fits comfortably in your hand.
Only with the 18er Pancake makes the NEX-5 housing more sense.
It is a pity (for us) that the hot shoe has a hot shoe instead of the old Minolta system - so we can the existing Minolta (3600 HS-D) use not directly, but still need to buy an adapter. But for people who already have a flash with hot shoe, a great thing that the camera has a hot shoe (Addendum: just tested AF-3N (Nikon) with 28 Metz - works perfectly).
Conclusion: very best value for money.
