Packing / Contents:
As might be expected, the part is well packaged and easy to refer to two certainly easier, but also walks alone.
Inside is also next to the TV: 2x Schuttter (3D) glasses, 2x remote controls (in color TV), one with such a small touchpad, and of course the pedestal, and a description.
Design / appearance:
One can argue about taste, but I find the design actually appealing, slim visible frame with an additional acrylic frame around. The back is painted steel / aluminum. The connectors are located on the right and facing outward.
Picture / Sound:
From a thin TV you just can not expect good manners and you will be taught here also not better. Sounds simple thin, bland without any dynamics. But does not bother me because I spend the sound through the AVR.
For image content FullHD dominated the Samsung passable, SD or HDReady content but are littered with artifacts and noise also affects overall picture very restless, very unfortunate. In dark areas no details are available, it's all just mud as you can to the settings turn what you want, which helps everything nix
3d:
Now for the biggest criticism, 3D is just bad caves. It starts with the disastrous spectacle, this is small and open on the side, so that light is reflected inside and hidden. As soon as you the glasses on his nose (after some time making the weight noticeable bindingt by technology / battery), it will zap duster and you see hardly anything once the 3D playback starts. The TV provides 3D content to make just no real effect visible, you go definitely better with 2D. No matter what settings is carried out, it simply improves hardly anything, it's all just flat.
Operation / Menu:
As mentioned above, there are two remote controls in a large where all functions can be operated, and a small - well for everyday use - which still is a small touchpad on it. The touchpad is slightly loose in the brackets and you can slide back and forth (VLT 1-2 mm), and you get the feeling that things would be split equally any time.
The device responds promptly to commands and converts them more or less to one immediately, even the smartHUB (SmartTV) walks briskly on.
Connectivity:
4x HDMI, 3x USB, Optical output, as well as SCART, because you can not complain. Wireless internet is also still installed.
Content on USB stick / disk and via DNLA be played without difficulty, had no file would be played not swallowed or the TV. Via DLNA, however, I noticed the coils in conjunction with a Twonky server, and pause is not possible (in other devices it goes very well)! What I like good, is the fact that the power cable is not fixed, but a simple Euro plug is, you can exchange them for a longer example thus without problem the cable.
My conclusion:
Schick it, the television, if it is because of ;-)
I have certainly returned him and me after careful consideration of the Sony KDL-55W809 (as W805 but special model with 5 year warranty Sony instead of 2 years) gained, and there are worlds apart here. Voted for the Sony 250, enumerated and for me it was thus more than just a good deal. See also my Sony KDL-55W805 review.
Here I can not really understand the positive reviews, or the expectations / tastes are just different.
