When unpacking the printer makes a very good impression, he came well packaged and protected with me on. The Quick Guide is enough to start out perfectly, from set up to print the test page went barely 5 minutes. Small point of criticism: for Erstkonfiguartion must be connected by cable to the PC, the printer; that cable is indeed supplied but veeeery short! But as you use it only once when wifi use, there is no penalty for this.
During configuration, a test page is printed and scanned, initially everything properly. The subsequent configuration on my MacBook Pro was quick and without any problems. When I wanted some leaves print for the university first came the nasty surprise: the paper was drafted and got caught in the printer! Paper away, try again - same result. I thought the printer was broken when I came across a small sign on the paper-loading hatch: this compartment must only be pulled out, then load paper, again reinschieben et voila: now everything works perfectly! not a failure of the printer as some write here, but a mix of hidden information and its own blindness.
Have the printer now had several months in operation and never had a problem, even successive print jobs from Windows and Mac do not have any problems.
Among the included cartridges: the black cartridge held by approximately 180 pages, as these approached its end was displayed both on the printer itself as well as on the computer a warning. The color cartridges are still almost brimful, but we have also printed only 15-20 color pages and some slides with pictures. Have ordered the 364 XL black cartridge, which fits easily and has been recognized, and after more than 250 pages, more than 50% full.
So if a printer for the university, work or home searches, not necessarily want to print ultra-high-resolution pictures with it, but with durchschnittlich- to good photos satisfied and make a pair of pressure sounds nothing, which is exactly right for this printer, before especially at this price. Cartridge's low here on Amazon. Tip - ideally take the XL versions: cost a few euros more, but for the few bucks you get ne corner more)
