For those who put more emphasis on performance, than on externals

As far as I can tell as a moderate user, the computing power is solid and enough for surfing, writing and even a movie to watch without a fan or drive are loud.
The materials are good in and of itself. Both the smooth plastic in piano finish around the keyboard, and the softer, matte plastic on the outside (above). In the normal requirements of a notebook certainly more robust than brittle hard plastics. However, both are very prone to fingerprints. Even the separated numeric keypad is an advantage when you're working with a lot of numbers.

However, the materials and components are poorly finished:
The transitions and edges / ridges are very sharp, especially the large joint of the battery, which is clearly perceptible. If you take the notebook in hand, you're afraid that the battery "breaks", or that you cut to it.
Furthermore, the battery seat very loose in the recording, which further limits the perceived quality.
Not quite as serious but disturbing the joint is where one hangs up his left hand while writing. While pulling back you can feel there a scratching / tapping transition between the smooth, shiny plastic and the frame.
The keystroke sound of the keyboard is quite loud when writing. The 'mouse buttons' below the touch pad are much louder, almost rattling and annoying to the user himself and everyone in earshot.
The touch pad is responsive to inputs with a finger well in precise, for the usual gestures that should be possible according to the enclosed instructions on Win 8.1, but hardly it is because they are often detected only at the second, third or fourth time.
The button to open the optical drive is extremely difficult to move, so you have the drive every time very solid and very deep push 'into the case' to the resistance is large enough so that the button can be pressed even actually. In the long run this may be for the longevity of the component certainly not be conducive. Then opens the drive so you have, despite all precautions are afraid that this could break when changing the volume at any time.
In black or gray tones, the noise is partly solid. In videos and also otherwise one does not realize this, and it performs very neat!

Conclusion: Software-sided is everything in butter, the points deduction is available only for the cheap looking components (drive, keyboard, mouse / touchpad bes whose keys.) And the very schelchte processing.
Surely you can not expect the price to high-end quality, but too bad it must be straight with a quite well-known manufacturers not be anyway.
