The CD's of Fuji I use for a few years for the archiving of digital photos in addition to archiving on hard disks. The CDs can be burned with the specified capacity and speed. Write error occurred in me rarely and perhaps lay at 1 to 2 percent at present about 400 recorded CD's (in various burners over the years, burning program Nero in different versions with error indication by the burning program). Previously, ie 2005/2006, I had CD's of EMTEC (CD-R blanks photo 24 carat gold technology 80min 700MB digital) used with whom I was absolutely not satisfied. The rate at the Committee was after burning very high, the previously remaining CD's I have gradually replaced since the data contained are faulty. Whether the CD's of Fuji actually can store data reliably over a period of several decades, I can (now) not judge ;-) Annoying I find the offer of CD's from Fuji both Jewel and in slim cases, because I keep the CDs in boxes and so give away the supplied Cases or dispose. Deals with spindles would prefer me, but Fuji has not to my knowledge to.
